News from International Headquarters
September 1, 2023 e.v.
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
Following the
determination
by the World Health Organization (WHO) that COVID-19 no longer constitutes a public health emergency, OTO
International Headquarters (IHQ) has formally lifted the requirements
for vaccination, testing, and social distancing implemented on August 1, 2021 e.v.
While no longer required, we continue to strongly recommend vaccination (including boosters) for all OTO
members. COVID-19 has not ended, and we must remain vigilant to prevent its spread within our communities.
In particular, members who feel ill or develop potential symptoms should not attend OTO events until they
are feeling better and have tested negative for the virus.
National Sections and local bodies should continue to adhere to the regulations and recommendations
issued by their respective national health agencies, as well as the recommendations issued by WHO.
Organizing officers need to stay updated on any developments in the spread of the COVID-19 virus in their
areas and act accordingly.
Our Grand Lodges have issued their own policies and directives governing OTO activities with respect to COVID-19.
This communique is not intended to supplant those directives, but is directed to countries managed
directly by IHQ.
Love is the law, love under will.
In the Bonds of the Order,
The Supreme Council Ordo Templi Orientis International Headquarters
